View Full Version : Course 4 and 5?
Are any folks that were close to passing course 4 also taking course 5 this fall? I got a 5 on course 4 and have been studying for course 5 since mid June. Part of me thinks I am crazy for even thinking of taking two of these but the other half of me thinks that it's a reasonable thing to do. Any opinions one way or another? :-?

Go for it if you are sure your time would be wasted doing only 4. I did 4 and 6 last time, passed 4 waiting for 6 results. At least going into Course 5 I have WA exam experience. ;)

I'm considering it,but won't register until the last moment. I got a 5 on C4 about 3 sittings ago, and have experience in individual and group so I'm thinking about it.
I've done first review of about 1/2 the material on C4, and have read a few chapters in LIPF, and made notes on about 5 chapters of Group Insurance. I'm on vacation next week and the week after so I'm hoping to burn through a lot of the C5 reading during that time.

Can't speak from personal experience but a friend of mine passed both C4 and C5 in the same sitting. It was his 3rd attempt at 4 and his first attempt at 5.
It would really stink to get a 5 on both exams.
After I failed Exam 4, I was tempted to take 4 and 6 this sitting. I'm glad I didn't. There's an awful lot of stuff to remember for Exam 4 in terms of formulas. It's a difficult enough exam on its own.
Course 5 has a lot of memorization of lists. I simply don't think I would have the brain capacity to store all the Course 4 and Course 5 material simultaneously if I had to.
