Question about Signature

I was wondering if it's possible to use an image as a signature. The image i wanted to use is...

<img src="http://fow.8m.com/FRIENDS/Juggler.gif">

But i can't seem to get it to work as my signature.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how?
