Has anyone ever been to the Milliman Actuarial and Underwriting Training Seminar? Have you been to any other similar seminars by Milliman?

Been there. It was good training, covering a broad array of topics in limited detail.

I went to the Milliman Heathcare Symposium this past November in Vegas. I thought that it was pretty good. Of course it was hard to concentrate when I knew the gaming tables where a 10 minute walk away...

I'd like to suggest to my boss that she send me if it looks justifiable. I want to be able to justify it to myself first, then to her. The brochure seems thin on details. I'm the only underwriter/actuarial-type person here so I do all the pricing and something like this could probably benefit me as I don't have the benefit of working inside a large practice area anymore like I did when I was at a big consulting firm. Particularly interested in the impact of HCR but there is almost no detail on what is covered or how much detail they go into on any of the topics.
