Hi All-

I use the ERISA Outline books all the time @ work when questions come up, or to back up reasoning, etc... thinking of reading them cover to cover to bone up for EA exams and wondering if anyone around here has done it. How long did it take? Is it overkill?

Thanks :spnner:

The ERISA Outline books are pretty thorough, and not all of it relates to the EA exams. If your goal is studying for the EA exams, your time is better spent elsewhere. I'm not sure if he's published the list anywhere, but Dave Farber has made a list of sections in the ERISA Outline books that are pertinent for EA-2B. It covers perhaps 5% of the material in the book, and it still took me roughly 25-50 hours to read and summarize.
