To get a better understanding, I avoid American media, and only read the foreign press. Here are the sources I use. Any other (popular, not obscure) foreign sources you guys would recommend?

Jewish Press
These two are real good if you want the average Israeli's viewpoint. http://www.jpost.com
http://www.haaretzdaily.com

Arab/Muslim Press
I don't have much, http://www.arabnews.com is OK, they have an interesting comic section.

Any other good sites with the Arab/Muslim viewpoint? Does Al-Jazeera (the cable station) have a website?

Other good foreign papers
http://www.guardian.co.uk - EXCELLENT paper

I like the BBC for a general overview - much better than any of the US media sites.

As for magazines, the Economist rules for foreign coverage even though it may be a bit Euro centric for some.

Economist is a great magazine if you want in depth analysis.
