Who's going?
Is anyone not staying at the Seraton, but instead staying at the Days Inn down the street?
Where do you plan to be in your studying by then?
************************************************** **********
I'm going
Staying at the Sheraton
Finished Mahler's notes and good grasp on Chapters 3,4,&5
I am going.
Staying at the Days Inn (MUCH cheaper).
I hope to be through all the material. Not thoroughly, but I want to at least expose myself to everything before I go.

BB,
How did you finish Mahler's notes so quickly? Did you do the problems? There are 1500 pages there, with a huge number of problems.... How can you be done with them?

I was answering my own question about where I PLAN to be with them by the time the seminar starts. I am already through the first two sections, Frequency Distributions and Stochastic Models, having done all of the problems.

Oh, and BA -
Word to the wise, the Days Inn SMELLS! If you are flying in and won't have a car, it is not a fun walk either. I know from past experience. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the room to smell any better.
I smoke, and I don't smoke in my home because I do not like the smell of stale cigarettes. But when I first got to the Days Inn for the Spring 2001 sitting, the room smelled so bad that I let five cigarettes in a row burn in the ashtray to try to change the smell of the room (btw, I was in a non-smoking room, so it wasn't a smell of stale cigarette smoke). I bought air freshener, but that didn't help either. When I went to go change rooms, I realized the halls smelled too! It was the whole hotel!
If your company will pay for it, I whole-heartedly recommend staying at the Sheraton!
