So, I'm coming to this whole actuary thing from an existing profession -- 10 years as a chemical engineer.

So far, I've sat for exams P and FM (Wed and Thurs).

My current plan is to start studying for a VEE exam, and also study for and take Exam M in the Fall, and Exam C in the Spring.

Which VEE exam content would be the most useful for me to study up on that might complement or inform the Exam M and/or C content?

After taking FM, the Finance exam would probably be the easiest to squeeze in there. None of them will really help you with Exams M and C though, IMO. There will be a lot of new material on the Finance exam, but there will probably also be some straightforward Time Value of Money calculations. (You have a 30 year loan on a house with a 10% down payment. Interest rate is X, payment is Y, what is the purchase price?) After taking Exam FM, those questions will be a breeze.

You can either do a CLEP exam (probably the easiest option) or an NEAS online seminar (probably second easiest) or the CAS VEE exam (probably hardest) or take a college course (varies with course/prof). The NEAS and CAS options are less likely to emphasize TVM because they know you're getting it on Exam FM.

I stand corrected: you cannot do a CLEP exam for the Finance requirement. So in that case I would go with NEAS.
