So, Paprika is a big sister. Congratulations to Mrs. Pepper and Mr. Salt, and of course to Grandma Cayenne.
I know it's sad when the highlight of my day is a new episode of Blues' Clues, but it does give me a few minutes with my kids, away from studying

Well, thanks for the news. My son had a fit because he missed it. I had 8 o'clock in my head as the start time, but I keep forgetting I don't live in eastern time zone anymore!
You're not alone
Maybe they'll re-run it over the weekend.
I guess Blue herself has been neutered.
Just out of curiosity -
At what age did your children become interested in Blues Clues?
What do you think of the show?
My older child watches it since he was 2 1/2, although I doubt he got much out of it. Now he is a year older and just loves it. Steve is practically a member of our family now.

FYI, it is being shown everyday this week at 10am eastern, so set your VCR.
My younger son started watching, I guess 2 years ago at age 2. Nickelodeon is on my tv all day, and when my older son would leave for nursery school, the little one started watching Nick Jr. Now that the little one is 4 and in school every day, he doesn't get to see it as often. But the way Nickelodeon hypes their shows, we knew exactly when it was on. Even my 7-year-old was excited, which really surprised me. Basically, they think everything on Nick is cool. This network has the kiddie market locked tight.

Aw, man, shows what you know. Blue is a girl, you mean spayed.

Sheesh, I bet you don't even know the name of Blue's dog friend.

That's easy - Magenta. And she's a girl, too.
I wasn't too crazy about Lisa Kudrow as the stork doctor. My favorite guest star was Rue McClanahan as Steve's grandma.

Ahh, the beauty of television. Such a great babysitter. Oh yeah, it's educational too! No, really, it is!

Bonnie,
Thanks for telling us when it will be replayed. When I told my son we'd tape it today, he was quite happy!
Saucywench, let me guess. You have no children. Just because the TV is on, it doesn't mean the children are being babysat by it.

There is also a green puppy. Anyone know her name?

The green puppy is just called "green puppy" as are the purple kangaroo, orange kitten and green kitten (all at Blue's school) However, the kitten next door is named Periwinkle
My son is 22 months and has been watching Blue's Clues religiously for a few months now. He sings the songs, dances, answers the clues, and will often tell me how people are feeling or other things he has learned from various episodes.
