Is it just me, or does there really just not seem to be that much needed to prepare for the seminar? I read / did the core case studies. I read the extended case study, and did the advance assignment. I read the articles with the extended case study. None of this took particularly long (except writing the report for case study 8).
Am I missing something that I should be doing?

Am I missing something that I should be doing?Nope, you've done more than enough.

I'm getting the same paranoid feeling about the seminar prep. Aside from memorizing the GMDB equations (which I am NOT going to do), not sure what else to prepare for.
Hope there is a Starbucks near the hotel for Thursday's report writing. I'm some much more creative when hopped up on caffeine.

How many pages was your report for CS8? Did you follow the format of the sample project? I'm just not sure what is required for this.

About 7 pages for me, not including title page and ToC. Not sure how I pulled that off. Still haven't finished #7 nor the GMDB...

Good work... I've finished the rest but I've been putting off writing the report for CS8. So you've got an executive summary..appendix like the sample project? Guess we don't need a model selection part since it's just pivottables.

I wasnt really sure what was required either, but mine ended up around 15 pages -- a fair chunk was taken up by charts, graphs, etc.

Yes, exactly -- an executive summary, a body (3 or 4 sections -- I forget now), and an appendix (1. what I did to clean the data 2. why you need to hire me again in a few months for additional analysis)

Just finished my CS 8 report. Hopefully we will be critiquing these things before we get to Thursday.
See y'all in Seattle!

You will. Probably the first day. For my session, it was the first case study we went over, in fact.
