last sentence of page 273:
"Note that the mean trend between cells (i, j - 1) and (i, j)
is gamma(j) + iota(i+j) , and the mean trend between cells (i - 1, j) and (i, j)
is alpha(i+1) - alpha(i) + iota(i+j) ."
I think this is a typo. I think that the last line should be:
"is alpha(i) - alpha(i-1) + iota(i+j)."
Can anybody clear this up for me?
