...did you find that there were many questions where one is asked to identify the lone true or false statement? As I started going over old exams I was struck by the number of like problems on the Nov 2001 version.
There were 8 (if my memory serves me correctly) where you needed to decide true/false, identify a definition, choose a method, etc. You did not need to calculate anything you just had to know the topics. I would anticipate these on the upcoming exam.

Yes, I remember there were a bunch of true/false questions (8 is about right) on the May 2002 exam. Most of them came from the Econometric text, some were from Survival Analysis.
