Has anyone used the study of written materials for PD credit? Is this allowed at all?

I've started working with short duration FAS 60 contracts, and I feel like a careful read of SFAS 60 is in order. It would sure be nice to be able to translate a few hours of studying into a couple PD credits, since I'll probably be doing the studying, regardless. It seems weird that you could get an hour of PD credit for listening to an hour of tapes on "Statutory Principles", but (perhaps) not from spending 2-3 hours reading up on the source material.

i haven't seen anything that says this is allowed, but you could email the soa and ask them if you could get Non-Approved SOA PD credits for this.
