Putting your kids' names on the net is one of the big no-no's these days.

Congratulations! Sorry about that labor thing. What's amazing is that babies are so wonderful that Mrs. Solo might even forget to the point of talking to you again.
Once, while I was trying to comfort her during a bad bout of morning sickness, Mrs. Grondin said to me through clenched teeth "Don't even kiss me!" Luckily for me, she forgot.

Congrats man.
Han and PL only had 3 kids, so you have to stop now.
Han had twins Jaina and Jacen, followed by Anakin Solo (of course named after Leia's father).
So, watch this Anakin with great promise.

Dammit Hans, I keep telling you that pulling out is not an effective BCM. Wrap that thing next time or you will have your own basketball team soon.
Congrats.

Thanks to all for the well-wishes. Everyone is home and doing fine, though we are not sleeping much. He eats a ton.
Yes, we are planning on stopping at 3. We seem to have a tough time with this labor thing (30 hrs followed by an emergency C-sec, then 25 hours, and now a 36 hour one). We tried to get wifey a tubal right after birth, but they would not let her (she wasn't stable enough). So I'll probably get the ole snip snip soon (of course, with our fertile track record, we should probably fix both of us to be on the safe side).
Once, while I was trying to comfort her during a bad bout of morning sickness, Mrs. Grondin said to me through clenched teeth "Don't even kiss me!" Luckily for me, she forgot.I gave up trying to comfort her for morning sickness - especially since it lasted all 9 months. (It did with one of our older kids too).

He dies in Troy Denning's Star by Star. I think he sacrifices himself to save some others, but don't quote me on that, it's been a while since I read it.

36 hours?! Does that mean she was sleeping during part of the labor? How does that work?

As much as having painful labor contractions will let you sleep!
She went into labor Thursday evening, and that night the contractions were still pretty spaced out (20 min +), so she could sleep a little. We went to the hospital mid-Friday and she got the epidural, which let her sleep a little before beginning pushing in the wee hours of the morning. But it's not very much, or very good sleep.

Congrats, I know exactly how you must feel (see sig)
Fortunately our pregnancy went pretty well (almost no morning sickness).
The wife also had an entire day and night of 20+ minute apart contraction (at one point they got to 5 minutes apart, we went to the hospital, they stopped for an hour or two, and they sent us home). She wasn't bothered too much by them and just carried on as normal. When they got to 5 minutes apart we went to the hospital and hours later she was having lunch.
Our biggest difficulty was convincing the insurance carrier that it doesn't matter if the hospital calls a 4-person ward semi-private, when the plan defines semi-private as a 2-bed room and offers private otherwise, we qualify for private.
Sorry yours was so difficult.

Dang, is everyone around here popping out kids now?
Glad to hear your labor&delivery went smoothly. And my wife is insanely jealous of the whole no-morning sickness thing. My sister recently had a kid, and she didn't barf once. She would taunt my wife occasionally since my wife was sick multiple times a day for 9 months.

Good idea, taunting the prego-barfing chick. Obviously you got all the brains in the family.

Our biggest problem was the unbearable heat / humidity. It is just sooo damn hot here that the wife pretty much spent large portions of the pregnancy hiding out in our bedroom with the AC on. My incremental increase in electric bills cost more than the Dr. bills

I feel your pain - it's rather humid in DC as well, though not as much as there I'm sure. I think the thermostat was set in the 60's the entire pregnancy. And there's no arguing with the pregnant ladies. I just put on a sweatshirt most days.

I live in the tropics and had to sleep under multiple blankets. Our electric bills were running $500+ each month, aaarrrggghhh!!!

So did I, Ultimate! That's the trouble with staying away for so long and then popping in just to call attention to myself.
Congratulations to you too, then, Han! :-D
P.S.: As far as "morning" sickness goes, my wife felt pretty bad, but never actually got to the point of hurling. However, her issues following delivery more than make up for that, so your wife should be happy her problems ended relatively abruptly (and that you have three beautiful children, of course ;-) ).
