Course 8I syllabus

I'm pretty sure that I'll pass course 5 on Wednesday, so I'd like to start studying for course 8I this weekend. Of course, the SOA probably won't finalize the syllabus until about a month before the exam. What books/chapters do you feel will definitely be on the 8I syllabus next fall?

If you're serious (and that smiley face means, "Maybe" to me), it's not likely to change much from this Fall's syllabus. Changes in the Learning Objectives, combined with different books, would cause a major hassle. Don't expect that to happen. It would imply that there are people out there that care about such things.
On Wednesday, during the 5 Exam, ask the proctor (or supervisor) if anyone's taking 8I on Thursday. If so, then on Thursday make your way to the exam, find that person, and ask to borrow some books or study notes.

That should hold you until May, when the official syllabus is released.
