How many, if any, New York actuarial firms had offices in the WTC?

I know that AON Consulting was on floors in the 100's of one of the towers. I interviewed there a year ago but they were looking for someone with less experience, thank God!

As a sad side note, on the Fox Morning Show this morning, they had a woman call in who was hysterical and looking for her husband who was on the 105th floor and worked for AON.

I know there are actuaries at Morgan Stanley, Lehman, Merril, etc. I hope they were taking study days yesterday.

I heard on the radio that both Kemper and Guy Carpenter had 100% of employees accounted for. Unfortunately 38 of Alger Funds employees are presumed dead including David Alger himself. (They were not actuaries but research analysts that were some of the best and brightest)

Aon reports that 200 employees are still not accounted for. Not known how many were actuaries.

None of the retirement/pension actuaries from Aon were injured. Not sure about the reinsurance division which made up the majority of Aon.

To the best of my knowledge Aon has 2 actuaries missing. No other company lost any actuaries as far as I've heard.

at the Annual ASNY meeting I believe they said that none of their members were missing.

I am not sure who that doesn't include, could just be ASA and above
