In the Actex manual it often refers to test tables. In the solution to a problem, it will list a formula and in parenthesis say (Test Tables). What are they talking about???

That refers to the handout you get with the exam. There are 14 pages of formulas and tables that they give you for the exam. You can print out a copy at the SOA site.
