Good to have you a part of us, but at the same time, sorry to see you here.

Now it'll be time for two more to join us. We should start studying the patterns of students' posting now and develop our suggestions. Maybe.

Macroman, your death scene was emotionally powerful and very sad. I couldnt really compete with that on the same level, so I went for something physically revolting. I kind of had this in mind when I thought the mole would kill me off last turn, but didnt get serious about crafting my scene till it became obvious that I was getting lynched. I tried to make up a backstory for the mole and tie it in to the game's premise somehow.

For those who have seen the movies, the scene is obviously inspired by the "Saw" franchise, one of the best recent horror movies imo. Its not perfect, Jigsaw's motive is not the same as our mole, but I tried to kind of keep the same feel as the movies.

Blue, can you post that PM? It would be helpful to know what he thinks, and may be insightful as to whether or not he's EC.

It may be interesting to see what 4sigma is thinking, but I think we should not be swayed too much by it, either in agreement or antagonized by it. Lets face it, 4sigma almost has the students under his control, which isnt a bad thing, hes a good player. If 4sigma is right, he's gonna nail the mole. If he's wrong, the ghosts would have a better chance by following a different track. (as well as avoiding the obvious pitfall if 4sigma was the mole)

General comment: I would tend to expect EC would want to remain on my "good" side. Particularly since I am wielding All Clear's proxy, and EC has not seen fit to dispose of either myself or All Clear. All Clear. I do not think that All Clear is EC, though it is possible. The main point in his favor is the posts EC Mole made on 11/21 at about 3 p.m. and 5 p.m Eastern time. All Clear is historically unavailable to post at 5 p.m. Eastern time, though it is possible he might have managed it for a day. All other posts by ECB and EC Mole are made in the evenings. Actually, except for this one post by EC, All Clear is not a bad fit for the EC profile.

Butters. I do not think Butters is EC. Butters was absent from the rebel forum for the first week of the EC game, during which time EC was actively posting. I think Butters was on vacation.

Early in the game, I decided that this week 1 activity by EC Mole was indicative that neither Butters or All Clear was likely to be EC. Accordingly, I have shared a great deal of PM traffic with them.

Snafu. Snafu might be EC, but I doubt it. Snafu makes moderately frequent spelling errors. EC has made none that I have noticed. Also EC has made some posts close to 11 p.m Eastern time. Snafu is rarely on the RF this late.

Werewolf. Werewolf is possible EC, but I would not expect EC to be antagonizing me to the extent that he has. All modesty aside, a backlash by myself could easily start a lynching bandwagon for him. A very risky strategy for EC to pursue.

Kenshiro. Same as Werewolf. Kenshiro was calling for my neck early. I would expect EC to be trying to be on my good side, which Kenshiro hasn't.

Leela Leela is on my radar a bit. She's been reasonably quiet this game. My original take on EC was that their sports posts suggest a female possibly trying to impersonate a male.

Blue Skies Blue skies is possible EC, though his naivete regarding "The Mole" vs. "EC Mole" strikes me as genuine. It's a masterpiece of deception if he posted all that as EC. He does seem pretty sharp, however.

Arachn One of my leading suspects for EC at the moment. Started out a bit interested in having me lynched, but has since changed his tune. Seemed pretty quickly defensive when snafu began to point in his direction.

4sigma It goes without saying that I am not EC. :grin: For starters, If you look at EC Mole's posts on 12/15, you'll see that they were posted in the middle of my night's rest. I am a West Coast night owl with a very flexible work schedule, often staying up to 3 a.m. pacific time and starting work in the late morning. 12/15 was no exception, as you can see by my posting times. If you believe I'm EC Mole, then you believe I got up for an hour right in the middle of my sleep time in order to make EC Mole postings for 40 minutes. I'm dedicated to this game, but not that dedicated. I'd also be able to come up with better ways of framing people without giving up my precious sleep.
