Does anyone know how important it is to go into depth on ruin theory? Specifically, I was studying, and someone I was studying asked whether or not I was going to go into depth on the reinsurance related ruin theory problems. I dont know how important this is, but was wondering if anyone who has taken the test before remebers if this type of stuff was on there.
I feel very comfortable with the general ruin theory problems, ie. compound Poisson, or word problems, and hope that I can just leave it at that.
