What did everyone think of the social medical care question (BelairCare)? Why did they indicate that NOC pays 75% coinsurance after a $100 deductible if the case study describes another payment option?

I don't think the case study ever indicated the level of benefits, just the premium cost sharing. I used the level of benefits in the question to give examples of the different methods of coordination.

What was the answer to the multiemployer question? Was the answer from the study note 8R-219?

How many points to pass? Everyone I talked to felt really good about the morning, and so so about the afternoon. Since the whole game is based on the "greater fool", and we're all smart enough to get to course 8, it seems like a really big crap shoot on whether any given person passed or failed. They will fail half of us regardless.
I can tell you that I feel like I got at least 1/2 the points on every question, and nailed others. This would be good enough to pass course 5 or 6, but I don't think it will cut it on 8R. Any thoughts?

The multiemployer question in the afternoon...maybe, the graders want to see the merger study note with the 5 issues (EE issues, accrued benefits issue, personnel issues, etc.) Wasn't part a to the question, what are the financial and operational considerations and part b was what are some additional considerations?

I actually felt much better about the afternoon and not so hot about the morning. Stupid Accounting questions!!! If I had wanted to be an accountant..... On all 3 accounting questions I made one stupid mistake, which of course throws off everything.
I estimate that I scored around 45 - 50 out of 90. I hope that's enough. I can't fathom studying for this b**ch again.
