Yeah, it's official, I hate it... I thought I was doing OK, but coming down to the end, I'm simply overwhelmed by the amount of material... there are no less than 500 lists for this exam that I should memorize (probably more in the 600-700 range). I just don't have the time left to get this all in my brain. Not that I'll definitely fail, but I see myself *most likely* in the 4-6 range, unless they happen to hit mostly one the stuff that I have memorized...

Props to those of you that have been able to get all of this stuff in your brain, I think for me it's going to come down to old fashioned knowledge instead of memory and hope that I can cover the important stuff. (By the way, here's how dumb I am, until two days ago I didn't realize that there were ZERO multiple choice questions on this exam)...

I still have about 14-15 hours of cramming left, but I just wanted to wish you all luck in the last few hours.... I'm probably not the only one in this boat.....

Amen brother...but the same goes for Course 5.

This is my 2nd time, all this stuff all makes sense, but I'm just awful at memorizing stuff (and I've tried all the mnemonic stuff too).

Is memorizing trivial lists supposed be an actuarial core competency?

Kudos to all of you who can spend 300-400 hours memorizing this crap.

And I know I'm being a defeatist little whiner!

Oh well, back to "Late Night with Cramming"

I am with you! It's amazing how quickly you can forget the things you just memorized a few hours ago as you move on to other parts of the syllabus. I am also feeling that I have no room left in my brain to store all these lists.

Just remember we can all go out and have a drink finally on Thursday night. I am looking at the bright side.

I'm taking 8F and I'm so with you guys. I thought I was doing OK until I started reviewing the lists after I was supposed to have learned them all and realized I had forgotten most of them. Now I'm pretty sure that I'm going to take the beating of my life tomorrow. Good luck and have fun tomorrow night!!
