4sigma has cast his haunt for this round. In the even that Arachn is lynched and he is innocent, does that render 4sigma's haunt invalid for the actual haunting for the ghosts for the next round?

Also, does his vote count towards the majority w.r.t. number of haunts needed to thoroughly haunt a participant?

E.g., suppose with 4sigma and Arachn (innocent), there are 10 ghosts. Will there be 6 ghosts or 5 ghosts required to haunt a participant?

I believe I get to cast a new haunt after each lynching, i.e. a lynching cancels all previous haunts cast.

Ghosts may cast one haunt prior to each lynching and may not change their haunt once cast. I intend for hauntings to be fatal starting in the 3rd round. Note that ghosts may also pass.

No sense in wasting a free haunting! I think it is a tough choice between Arachn and Leela at the moment. Since Leela seems to already be drawing a bit of heat, I wanted to put some focus on Arachn.

If you wanted to use the 2 haunts you still have available, you would have to do that before the players come up with the 3rd decisive vote to lynch today.

If the players lynched, and then you haunted, youd run the risk of declaring your haunts for the next round before the mole acted, and we'd then have to get into a big rules arguement with Cpt Nemo over whether the round "begins" after a lynching, an execution, or an assassination in an attempt to get your haunts back for the next round.

In other words, if you want to throw in your 2 cents as a suggestion to the players, then after you have your haunt post typed out, I'd do a quick double-check to see if the players lynched while you were posting, before hitting your "post" button.

I think it's clear that the round begins after a lynching, though we could get that clarified. In any event, I believe it's safe for you to haunt before the lynching occurs.

But it may not be necessary. Butters has said he would like to vote for Leela or Arachn, who have 1 vote apiece from Kenshiro and snafu. Butters' vote will make the second. And you can bet that if there are 2 votes for Arachn, Leela will cast the 3rd, and vice/versa.

I am 95% confident that either Leela or Arachn is already getting lynched this round.

FWIW, I think EC is very likely to take out Butters next turn, since he isn't currently attracting any heat. It would almost be curious if EC fails to do so.
