Has anyone out there filed for their PD who is an EA and has pre-2000 credits? I am trying to put together a plan and wondered if someone could help me. Who knew the PD piece would be so hard. Oh, I am using the PD to get my ASA.

Thanks!

How hard is that. YOu have your 50 pd right there. I think a one pager saying EA credits and transition credits would be enough. I think if you email the society, you might not actually have to even file for it and they might just credit you the PD.

I had EA + 40 PDs (plus other exam-validated stuff) and needed neither a plan nor a project - just a letter to SoA documenting what I had.

I am courses 1-5 and 25 PD Credits. I plan on fulfulling the rest of my PD for ASA requirements. I've heard that PD can replace one of the course 8 exams after conversion as well. Does anyone know if that is true?

Yes. PD by itself replaces DP. PD + 8 gives you - woo hoo! - CSP + DP.
