I have exams 1-4 along with the enrolled actuary exams and VEE. I am pretty lost on PD and how it works. I beleive the EA exams count for 25 PD credits. Some questions

How can I apply these 25 credits to ASA/FSA? Can I take course 8 in november and take get 25 more PD credits and get out of DSP and CSP (given I pass 8)? Can I even start to get another 25 PD credits? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would like to use my 25 PD credits somehow.

With only 25 credits of PD, you will need to write a paper worth 15 credits, then you can attend the EA meetings and you can get 10 credits there...that should give you your 50 credits for PD..You can take Course 6 (It doesn't convert well though) and you will get your ASA, you can then go after Course 8R (I believe) then you will be home..PD gets you out of DP but you will still have to take the capstone modules...good luck
