course 2 pass mark [Archive] - Actuarial Outpost

does anyone know pass marks from past course 2 exams, and how the nov 2002 exam might compare? thanks.

People say the pass mark is around 30/50. I have no idea whether this is true or not. I did think that the Nov 02 exam was similar in difficulty to previous years exams. I interest theory was more straightforward this time, while finance and micro a little more trickier. Hopefully the pass mark will stay about the same.

I think last time it was 28 (could be 27). I thought interest theory was WAY easy. Maybe I just really knew it. But there were a lot of questions I answered in one line, about 3 minutes tops. I found myself thinking "come on, don't you want to ask me something harder"? But actually, I'm glad they didn't.

BTW, thanks to the person compiling everyone's answers. I was afraid to look, but now that I did, I can sleep better even before the results come out.

Me too.... I was kind of scared cause I was answering one liners and finished in about 2.5 hours....Phew.... I thought it was just me that thought it was too straight forward

Along the same lines, but does any have a guess what the pass mark will be for this time around?? I am thinking in the 28-30 range..... :mona:
