I am sorry to bring up this topic again, but I just sat for the course 2, although I did put in a lot of time I found the exam relatively simple(although I think its difficulty level was almost on par with both 2001 exams).
Just for argument sake, lets say that over 50% of those who wrote got a least 30/50...40% at least a 35/50. Given this situation, what would be a reasonable pass mark? Do you think that the the comittee would still go with the infamous(yet still unadmitted) 30% rule?

I'm on the other side, I don't think they would set the pass mark at 50% but somewhere in the 40s would not be surprising.

They could definitely set the pass mark in the 40% range. Look at Course 1 in May 02. A lot of people thought this exam was easier than previous course 1s and that was reflected in the very high pass percentage.

I've got another conspiracy theory about all course 1 - 4 this sitting, and will post it on the "exams" section.
