Was this exam difficult, medium, or easy????

What do you guys think of the exam for course 1, difficult, medium, or easy?

I think it was between medium and difficult. I think it was more challenging than the last exam. The last exam seemed to have more familiar problems like those on the sample exams or passed exams. I came close on the last one but didn't pass. I'm hoping this was more challenging for most people. Hopefully this equates to a lower pass mark.

I found it to be simply different from the past exams. If you had a solid backgroud in math and stat is wasn't too bad. If you studied just to pass the test, it may have proved to be more difficult. An example of this is the Riemann sum problem. I was shocked to see that question on there but if you remember your intro to calc courses it wasn't too bad. Any other thoughts on this? :-?

I think the difficulty was between easy and medium. Course 1 is the foundation of actuarial science. So if you find that it's hard for you to pass course 1, you should make more efforts on basic maths.
