While researching syllabus changes for this year (2006), I noticed the following as part of the 2005 update

"The Spring 2005 version of Exam 7-United States will not include multiple-choice questions. All questions will require a written response."

However, the 2006 syllabus update includes no such comment. Anybody, care to comment on what last years test was like without multiple choice and confirm/refute that multiple choice will be included as part of this yeas exam

I'd be very surprised to see MC questions back on the exam. The CAS is obviously moving away from them. On 6 in the fall, there were a total of 7 MC questions. Why even bother????

I remember my hand starting to hurt, then looking around and seeing several exam takers shaking their hands. Part 7 is a lot of writing, not as much calculating, so it was tiring on the hands without MC and TF. But MC and TF invariable cost me points, at least on the exams I have failed (don't get analysis on passing exams) so I don't miss them.
