Any thoughts on BPP manual for course 2?
Has anyone used BPP manual? THey claim their manual to be a replacement of all textbooks with exam style questions.
I like the sound of that but they are very expensive. I have a feeling that I will end up resorting to other manuals or textbooks
so then should i just get regular manuals?
Please advice thank you.

Also, for exam 2, which combination is better?
a)CSM(supplement as well) and HTP 2
b)SCM(supplement as well) and Temple

did anyone pass the test without doing all the require reading?

Thank you all in advance.

I didn't do any reading for this exam. I exclusively used the Temple manual and I think it was enough for me to pass. However, no one can answer your question about passing for sure until January. I didn't have a chance to look through the CSM, BPP or any other manual, but I used the Temple manuals for course 1 and 2 and I was very pleased.

BPP is great as a replacement for the text books, but I felt that I needed HTP to drive home my understaing of interest theory.

Of course, the cost may deter you, but the tutoring that they provide as well as the practice exam really make it worth it. But hey, as KnightsPG noted, Ill really know in January how well the BPP replaced the required reading. :duh:

I am a big fan of the Temple manuals, which are all that I used for this exam. The manuals really pull out all the important information and summarize it very well. They also have ALL past exam problems going back to about 1998 worked out in an easy to understand manner. Also, the Interest Theory manual has hundreds of additional problems worked out.

I don't see any reason why with the Temple Interest Theory manual that you would ever need to look at the Interest Theory text by Kellison. If you have no background in Finance and Econ, perhaps having the textbooks on hand for a reference would be a good idea.

Good Luck

Is it possible to use ONE and ONLY ONE manual for exam 2?
If yes - which one?

I do not have money for buying 5 books hundred dollars each.
