Hello Everyone,

This will be my first attempt at C4. I haven't sat for C3 at all, and all the material for C4 is pretty new to me. Is this a good idea for me to be taking C4 before C3??? Under my current circumstances I cannot take C3 this May and my only other option would be to not write an exam.

I've been hearing pretty good reviews for ASM. I think I'm going to use that as a study aid.

What are the Mahler notes? People have said they are more indepth, but expensive. I have not been able to find them anywhere.

Do any of the other study manuals 'explain' the concepts better then other ones? I'm looking for something more than just an outline of the topics, but an explanation of the material?

Also any suggestions on what to study first and so on would be very helpful. Thank you everyone!

I'll start you off with a link to Mahler's material:

Check some of the previous threads, you should find plenty of opinions and recommendations on manuals.

I don't see any real need to take C4 after C3. The exams are relatively discrete and there aren't any prerequisites.
