I wish that they would hurry up and post the results of the exams from the fall. I hate waiting.

I want to start studying for next sitting, but it hard to know what to study for...

I've started. Worse comes to worse I'll stop C3 and return to C2. But I figure that having spent alot of time on C2, even if I should need to resit for it, I'll need less time to study, and if I don't need to resit for C2, why waste this time?

Granted, I'm not putting in 4 hours a day and 6-8 on Sundays yet....

IH2P --- Aren't you a week or two late this year?

Actually, I'm right on time Mountain... I went back to take part 4 (the only remaing joint exam left), and since it's offered about a week or two after the CAS exams it would seem that I'm right on time.

Avi,

Come on. Even with your numerous silly mistakes, you still must have passed!

I need to enjoy my christmas. If i fail, i would probably be moping around. I want to know as well, but this is definitely a blessing in disguise! :D

Plus, I start studying the week when the results come out. I really enjoy the time I have off. if it came out earlier, I would spend more time studying  and less time doing everything else (my favourite past time is watching TV).

At this time of the year, i have christmas cards to write and mail, presents to buy, baking to do, friends to visit (especially those that are long distance most of the year). Gimmie a break! Why in the world would I want to start studying so soon? I will have 4.5 months of studying 4 hours a day, I would rather keep it that way instead of extending it. As it is, we only have 4 months of the year to enjoy and not stress, WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO START STUDYING EARLY?!?

The only thing is not know is really hard to deal with. Avi, more power to you for starting your studying already, but me, I'd rather wait out the 2 months...

Just my two cents...

#1 - it's good that you start studying immediately, but not everyone does.
#2 - some of us are waiting on a once-a-year exam which is (apart from a few PD credits) all that stands between us and those glorious letters, FSA. And I personally HATE the waiting. I'd rather know and be miserable sooner, than wait and get my hopes up, only to be crushed in the end. Yarg! three and a half weeks, and already my stomach's jumpy...

true, true.

And i also think the summer one should come earlier. for the spring exams the results come out with enough time to study for just over 4 months (I mean the results come out for the fall exam so that you have 4+ months to study for the spring exams)...

When the roles are reversed (results come out in July), you have just over 3 months to study AND a month and a bit of that is in the summer (when i don't study 4 hours a day, and NOT on weekends...)

i vote that the spring exams take a shorter time to mark...

as long as we're voting, why not vote for ALL exams to be graded more quickly? I'm on the fence for course 4 and would like to start studying for 6 because there is a lot of material. :-?
