I wrote in Nov, but am very pessimistic about passing. I haven't yet used a seminar (I can go to 1 per exam), but will if...when I fail.
Which? NEAS? Actex? Georgia State? Temple?

Wherever Batten is teaching, go there. I don't think he's doing NEAS seminars anymore.

Yup, he is, along with Feldblum and David Smith.
The other options are:
Sharp & Broverman
Temple (Sorrentino, Subramanian-Viswanathan, Weiss)
Georgia State (Batten + ?)
and BPP's seminars.

Does everyone here pay out of your own pockets for a seminar, or does your employer help you out?
~$650 is a bit steep for me considering that I have no job yet.
And the ever so popular Dr. Batten happens to be on the East Coast, while I'm on the West.
I know its an investment towards the exam, but the closest seminar for me is:
SharpWaterloo
Los Angeles: Doubletree Club Hotel El Segundo-LAX 8:30 a.m. May 8 - 5:00 p.m. May 12
AND the Course 2 exam date is May 22, only ten days after the seminar. I would prefer maybe at least 3 weeks before sitting.
San Francisco may be another option though:
Seminar Date: April 24-28, 2003
Instructors: Richard London, FSA, Jim Bathgate, Ph.D., and Carmelo Giaccotto, Ph.D.
But I'm sure they're gona use the Actex guides, :shake:
which aren't the greatest from what I hear.
