By the SOA or otherwise (seminar teachers)?

I wouldn't count on solutions being posted soon (though I know the course 3 solutions are in almost final form).
My personal opinion is that it's very important for the candidates to have the problems available with the key. If no one on this board can work a problem, open book and without time restriction, then we surely missed the boat with that problem (of course, we always ask some that prove harder than we expect, and some that prove easier).
Last year a course 3 candidate calling himself Checkin Answers (who managed to get 37 right under exam conditions, based on his posted answers - a fantastic accomplishment) posted solutions for course 3 within about a week after the exam was up. Alas, I don't know that we have anyone of that caliber left posting here - he left the profession - but together you can work them out.
Published solutions might be more useful for the true-false, assertion-reason type questions from exams 5 and higher, where there is not a numerical answer.
You'll probably want to check the SOA published solutions eventually. As good as Checkin Answers was - and his solutions may have been more readable than ours - there were a few problems where he overlooked the easiest solution and used a valid but longer one.

Out of curiosity, what field did checking answers go to after he determined he was too much of a genius to be an actuary.

It looks as though Math Guy may be giving Checkin' Answers a run for his money. He's already got the 1st 8 posted here.
I remember arguing with Checkin' Answers about a couple of the Econ questions on C#2, it was fun and he was persistent, even though he was wrong...
