I created a Stars account (WManiac) about a week ago, and was thinking of joining in on one of these. Are there additional fees other than the $11? About how long do they last/ how many entrants?no additional fees. just the buyin & rake. the cost per game is listed in the first post of this thread..$10+1 for regular weeks (which is tonight), $20+2 for major weeks (next week is a major), and $30+3 for the championship.

they typically last about 2ish hours and on average, i'm guessing about 25 players.

if interested, i will send you the pwd.

My guess is 9:30.

ASOPs usually play fast, so maybe 50 hands in your worst case scenario in that half hour....and in worst case scenario that means 7 orbits...that would be about $1200 stack when you get back at 9:30. After that, with the blinds at 25/50, you'd get eaten up.

Yup. He built a huge chip lead and just leaned on us. Him and his stupid 94o. I was gonna push AI from the BB with 22, but I'd done that to him a few times already, so I thought I'd stop n' go after calling his raise from OTB with his 94o. How did cohete go from 60% of the chips on the bubble to the bubble?

Did he meltdown like the Cardinals did?

The turning point was when he made top two pair on the flop, I made top pair, stuck around (calling a near pot-sized bet on the turn like an idiot) and hit runner-runner flush. Just dumb luck.

so who has a legitimate shot at the title? my lead is tenuous at best, and it seems several people are within striking distance. how many pts do you get for winning the final?

oh wait, nevermind. i'm taking this biatch down. y'all are playing for 2nd.

Title is within reach for anyone in the top 10.

How'd that turn out for them? ;)

so, do you think after 5 seasons stars would let us do some type of rebuy?

I was thinking it would be fun as hell to do a $1+1 or $2+1 rebuy.

maybe if one of our supernova friends pulled some strings. $1 rebuy's are awesome. Only played in one and spent $19 within the 1st 10 minutes.

Oh, I guess I should translate:

"I was too weak tight to gamble, so when I finally got blinded down and picked up the best hand, stars rewarded someone by letting them suck out on me. "

The Judge's translating service is free the first time. But $.99 per use after that.

Thats cuz the formula used to calculate rankings was/is clearly off.

Only cuz tri played more events was he up there.

Clearly this is a flaw. Cohete wins on old formula. GG tri :D
