 :duh: i did that so long ago, i forgot about it......
get a ba-35 (solar, battery, whatever) and a TI-35-something,anything, doesn't matter. bring both to the exam. study with both and get used to using them without thinking (you know what i mean)......

Why would you need both for this exam?

My personal preference is to not use the crappy BA model at all if I don't have to. I'll bring it along in case I have extra time and want to figure out how much money I can save by refinancing my mortgage. :D

What can the TI-30X II do that the TI-85 can't?
I know about the regression on the TI-85, but what else can you do on these calculators?
Thanks

I wish you could use the TI-85 for these exams.
Of the approved calculators, I like the TI-30X IIS best because of the 2-line display, and the buttons are less tempermental. If you don't have to do annuities I think the BA-35 is a pain to use.

I like the two line display of the TI30, but I like the comma display of the BA35.
