I'm kind of confused with the transition rules. Does anyone know what I would have to do (exams, modules etc) next year if by December 2006 I had 1,2,3,C+VEE,5,6,7 and 8V?

Assuming you indeed have all of those, you'll need to take Exam CSP - the investment/advanced portfolio theory track. After that, you've got the FAC left (this, of course, is assuming you've been to the APC already).

Can I still do that? I thought there was some kind of deadline this year...

The deadline for submitting executed PD plans is June 30, 2007, so you've still got time.
