I'm just wondering how people found the macro exam? I'm taking both the micro & macro courses right now, and while I don't expect any great difficulty with the micro exam, the macro material is far less interesting to me and I'm a little concerned with how much I'm actually retaining while trying to plow through an 800 page textbook in 8 weeks. Any input?

Well, I won't know for sure if I passed until Friday, but I was the same as you going in to the exams - Micro seemed loads easier and had a much better text book but when it came time for the exams, I found the Macro exam MUCH MUCH easier - I took the full two hours for Micro, but had to FORCE myself to spend 75 minutes on Macro. If there aren't copies of a sample exam already floating around online (or if you can't get one from someone at your office) let me know and I'll type up the questions from the July sitting.

Well that's reassuring. That macro text is one dry read. I'll look around for a sample exam & get back to you. Thanks!

Just keep pushing through and if you don't understand some topic in a subsection too well, don't sweat it. Just do all your studying from sample test questions and a previous exam and only read well enough to do the homework exercises. The exam was probably the easiest of the three I took even though I didn't feel I could explain much to anyone without doing a lot of hand-waving.
