Tell me w.Bart Frye how attractive are the stipends for an int'l student doing a masters in actuarial science. This student already has a BSc in actuarial science plus 2 SOA exams. A very low GPA (2.0) and good GRE scores. Would a person like this get into an msc in actuarial science plus a tuition waiver and an attractive stipend. Tell me ???

Im a current Grad Ass in the dept. We get 10,500 a year (which works out to 914.20 a month after-tax) plus the tuition remition. Plus, I know that certain countries have agreements which mean they do not have to pay taxes(china). We do not consider GRE scores at all. Your low gpa may hurt you. Good luck.

These are cooler. I didn't really look that hard. I took the first five that were avatar worthy.

The title of this thread is a real let-down when you click in from the main forum.

Wow, actuarial science pays a pittance. I got paid almost double that as a TA in chemistry 9 years ago (not Ball State but another state university in Indiana).

The Z-shaped dorms are quite attractive at Ball State

The Z-Shaped dorms were the worst idea ever...of course they would be in the Honors College.
