Who has made the jump? Like many other pieces of software I've installed, I just clicked through most of the "warnings" without much thought only to find that, after installation many of my current drivers didn't work. Of course the most important one, my modem, didn't work, so I had to uninstall the system until I could download the new drivers (some of which are not yet available). Anyone make the jump successfully?

I haven't seen a compelling reason to update yet. Most of the update advice I have seen suggests installing as a dual-boot rather than a replacement (an option which I think XP gives) so that you have an out when the drivers don't work.

I never read the warning messages either.

It took you over 8 years to respond to Patience? :notworth:
Is anyone here still using Windows 2000?

When my brother got his first computer it ran Windows ME. The next one he got ran Vista. Now I know never to buy a computer the same year he does.
