This is a table of the Papers on the Exam listed by:

Learning Objective & Knowledge statements
Point Value

It maps each paper to the objectives and vice versa.

There is also a checklist / recommended reading order.

(the objectives and such are from the CAS syllabus)

Here's a collection of things that helped me understand and visualize several concepts from Part 9.

LIST OF LISTS: This is my list of lists. Any item that has special formatting has been asked more often than others. The page numbers refer to the 2006 All 10 manual, so they are a little out of date, but should still get you close. On the first tab, you'll get randomly selected items to pop up. I found this workbook most helpful when I would print out the entire list of lists and use that to make sure I hit everything at least once. You can expand and collapse the answers as needed. I printed a copy of each.

MANGO: This is just an electronic version of the various methods. It helped me put the pieces together.

Hope it helps,
Payneful

Jon,

Is there a tab missing for the recommended reading order, or is the suggestion to go in the order presented in the syllabus (i.e. A, then B, then C, etc.)?

Thanks.

The checklist also doubles as the suggesting reading order. It follows the syllabus listing pretty closely but where readings fall under multiple sections I put it where I think it fits better.

Jon,
i noticed from the checklist that there is a mention of 'Gilliam 1' and "Gilliam 2'. Wasn't one of these taken off of the syllabus for this year? or perhaps i am just confused.

bikram - yes, the Gillam 1 paper was removed; the check list has been updated to reflect that.

I am going to go ahead and post the mock exam I wrote. There are some errors, but if you want to you can find the thread with the corrections. Good luck!

My spreadsheet summary for Robbin.

Warning regarding Robbin text

It's a very painful/hateful process to try old exam questions using Robbin methodology. Anwsers won't reconcil. Try and lookup on AO for various posts regarding this topic.

Good luck!
