May I know what is the connection between the following few things?
stochastic simulation vs monte carlo vs regime switching log normal - RSLN

ie. is monte carlo = stochastic simulation ?
and is RSLN one method of monte carlo?
and is RSLN one method of stochastic simulation?

also, is RSLN/monte carlo a popular method in pricing guarantee benefit?
