I just received the following e-mail from Rick Groszkiewicz and decided to post it here.
I believe Chicago is a new area for him so for those of you who don’t know him - I have attended his seminars in the past and they were very good.
I would like to ask a favor of you. Please pass this information on to anyone you know who is studying for the EA-1 exam. I am teaching a small EA-1 seminar on-site for an actuarial firm. We have decided to open the seminar up to the public. All the details have not been finalized yet, but this what we have so far:
1. The seminar will be held April 1-3 in Chicago, Illinois
2. We don't know the precise location (or nearby hotels)
3. There are openings for 10 more students
4. The cost is $650, which includes printout of 100 overheads
5. The format is just like the EA-2B seminars - discussion, followed by working old exam problems
