God this is so disapointing. Kramnik won the world championship? He is the most boring player ever... He can never win a big tournament because he can't even beat 2600 players. Its just that in 1v1 competition he just sit in draw position and wait for opponent to make mistake. Sooooooo borrrrrrrrrring. This is sad. Topalov is exciting player to watch...

I don't like him - I find him incredibly boring, almost as much so as Leko. But I wouldn't mock his tournament performance, as it's been pretty monster given the presence of Garry.

a little late. Kramnik = zzzzzzzzzzz.

lol @ jonas. Kramnik is a very hard hard person to beat , and a disagree with gosujohn that 2600's can beat him. Any how chess is dead , if you look at MY Greatest Pred. the volumes are basically an obituary of the game of chess.

I like K's style. I dont think he waits for mistakes, its more that he exploits tiny positional advantages that most cannot see. His defense is outstanding and he consistently gets draws in inferior positions when most would lose. He reminds me of Petrosian.
