In the city where I live I've heard they're a sweatshop. Peer pressure to come in on the weekends. It could vary from office to office though.

The Atlanta office is not a sweatshop. However, it may actually have the reverse problem. People are not working huge hours because there's not as much work to go around as you would hope.

There has been a lot of turnover at the top (of that office) in recent years.

Thanks, Pseudolus. I was thinking the same thing.

Little monkey's question is more than 2-1/2 years old. I hope she/he hasn't been sitting on a job offer from Aon all that time, waiting for a response.

I assumed that the recent "testing" bump was because solomons had the same question.

I worked at the Somerset office, formerly known as ASA. PM me if you have questions.

I worked in the Baltimore office. Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot of positve experiences to share.

That reminds me of the theater critic who responded about the opening night performance of a new play with "I wouldn't like to comment. I saw it under bad conditions -- the curtain was up."

I know some people who are currently at the Somerset office, and be warned that it's nothing like Atlanta. (Atlanta is much worse.)

If you are a programmer the Atlanta office may be a good spot. Aon's in-house Pension valuation software team is in Atlanta. I don't know if they have any opening's though.

I work in St. Louis and have had nothing but good experiences.

It sounds like you already smell it.
