I need to start 2 WRs, 1 RB, and 2 WR/RB spots. Traditional scoring (1pt/15 yds, TD=6). Here are my options:
RB: Ronnie Brown (vs. GB), Clinton Portis (@ Indy), Chester Taylor (@ Sea)
WR: Anquan Boldin (@ Oak), Plaxico Burress (@ Dal), T.J. Houshmandzadeh (vs. Car), Jerricho Cotchery (vs. Det)
Two of these seven guys need to ride the bench. Help me pick 'em.
Start the running backs and Boldin. The other three are equivalent. Start Burress so you have an interest on MNF.

So you'd start TJ over Taylor? I actually had set it that way originally, but then I took TJ out and put Taylor back in. But now I'm thinking of starting TJ over Plax. I don't know. Plus Cotchery's playing arguably the worst pass D in the league this weekend.

Start the running backs and Boldin. And Housh.

I think Seattle has the potential to blow Minnesota out so I don't think Taylor will have a bid day but if yo really favor RBs over WRs then take Kohl's advise to start all 3 RBs. The other 2 RBs are no brainers you have to start them.
I like TJs big play ability but he's going against a tough d.
As a Giant fan, Plexipunk is always a risk - he could go for 100+ and 3 TDs or drop a pass early and disappear. Still wth Eli throwing to him on Monday night I agree w/ Kohl start him for the interest in the game factor.
Detroit D does in fact suck as you say which is why sitting Cothery was a tough call but I still think he's the weakest option of the bunch.

Yeah, Cotchery is pretty much an afterthought that I just listed for completeness. I'm tempted to leave Plax in because he's playing on MNF, but Housh is averaging close to 100 yards and a TD per game. Plus Seattle has the 28th ranked pass defense (based on ypg), and Dallas has only given up 4 passing TDs all season. That makes me lean Housh.

Wait, I got confused....Cincy's playing Carolina, not Seattle. Chester Taylor is playing Seattle. Hmm....now I'm going the other way....dangit!

For what its worth, Cotchery's season so far is equal or better than Burress & Housyourmama, and he is going against the weakest defense of the 3.

As many others have said, start the three running backs and Boldin and Plexiglass.
Traditional scoring (1pt/15 yds, TD=6).
Note, this is not typical scoring.

Yeah, the stats are similar, but Cotchery and Plaxico's stats are in 6 and 5 games respectively to Housh's 3. Chad Johnson gets doubled every week to the benefit of TJ. I would definitely go with Housh over Plaxico or Cotchery.
