I'd like to thank Concordia for kicking me out before I even had a chance in their actuarial program.
It's not like their requirements to get in were very high. My CEGEP R-Score was 35. I just made the mistake of trying computer engineering at McGill before finding out I actually hated it and enjoyed applied statistics/math instead.
I had no choice, I had to work hard afterwards. Try applying for a job without a university degree backing you. I had to prove I was competent.
Now, 2 years after being kicked out without ever having received any help when I asked for it, I have 5 exams and 2 year's experience with the largest Quebec P&C insurer, I'm making 70 000$ and that's not where I'm gonna stop. (Oops, still no degree, guess I'll have to one day join the university drop-out ranks of the Steve Jobs and Bill Gates of this world)

Thanks for not giving me a chance or making life easy for me. I had to earn my own success. I'll thank you again when I'm CEO of some insurance consortium and I'm donating an actuarial department to McGill.

I feel better now.
(Seriously, there`s nothing wrong with Concordia, I'm just pissed off at them)
