View Full Version : Time for cold turkey, before Thanksgiving

For the first time, I dreamed about you folks last night.

I was in an exam prep seminar. I haven’t really taken an exam in 25 years, but had been working course 3 problems before bed.

The professor was Traci. Though we appeared to be in a large room with rows of tables, my subconcious must have remembered her work-at-home style, since she was interrupted by two young girls clinging to her legs. I even recalled Miss E’s name. Scary.

There were many participants. Traci, you must have made a mint. The only one identified by name was Hagbard Celine. There’s proof the WC invasion is making an impact.

This report doesn’t rival the reports of seminars with the WC chicks on their forum, but that’s all I remember.

On the bright side, something about the dream woke me at 4:15 am. Wife and I went out to check out the meteor shower, and found it interesting enough to go back in and bring out our daughter.

Once I dreamt I was going to a Pension seminar... and guess who was the speaker....Andy Lang. I only saw his side view, though, not his face.
I tried to talk to him but there was a crowd around him so I couldn't. Then I woke up, thank goodness.

Ling,

Mine was a dream, not a nightmare.

I don't remember any content from the seminar. Should I ask Traci for a refund?

I can't believe I made your dream!

I rule!

but Steve, did you pass or do you have to wait for the NEXT dream (timeframe unknown) for results?

<font size=2>Well, I haven't dreamed about you people yet (I'm not THAT obsessed with this board, unlike SOME people ... ahem  ).

In my dream, I was a high school football player (?!) who was dating a cheerleader played by Jennifer Lopez - and I was absolutely miserable.

During the dream, all she did was complain about this and that, and how I hadn't called her for, like, five days. I asked her, "How was I supposed to know? I was just dropped into this dream a couple of minutes ago! I don't even *like* football!" (For that matter, I don't even like J-Lo.)

I ended up calling my dad and getting him to break up with her for me (as if, in the dream, my dad was playing the role of her dad, I guess). I don't remember exactly what I had my dad say to li'l J-Lo, but apparently I rilly told her off.

Weird, huh?

P.S.: You think this one is safe to tell my wife about?

You'd think that was safe to tell your wife, wouldn't you? But if your wife is anything like mine, she will assume that J-lo represents her in the dream. Then she will accuse you of wanting to leave her because you think she has a big butt. It's no-win.

Enough Exams Already

That depends on how good she is at dream interpretation. And this one might be fun to try.

Far from it. The dream has nothing to do with his wife.

It was only the seminar, not the exam. Or, as I said earlier, a dream, not a nightmare.

Ling, was he wearing a turban? We know he has an evil side to him.

And J-Lo-dreamer: Freud would say you're just a big ass. Not me, though.

Right... My wife is VERY rational, and whenever I am not perfectly clear, she assumes my statement is positive, NEVER negative

Steve, does this mean you're leaving the party just when I showed up?

Lucy,

Too subtle for me. If you're saying you dream about exams, sorry, I wasn't there, but I hope you passed.

If you were at the seminar and are wondering why I didn't say "hi", it was a big room, I couldn't see everyone clearly, and somehow I missed you.
