I have just finished my preliminary exams and want to pursue a career in Global ERM and International Finacial work within the actuarial field. Which designation is better fit for this career path? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Commodore

My instinct is that there's probably a society outside of actuarial that better suits your needs.

We're seeing ERM work on both sides. Either is a good fit. Some USA examples on the CAS side:

#21169 NORTHEAST FCAS - Enterprise risk management consultant sought. Requires pricing and financial modeling expertise. Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society preferred.

#20359 MIDWEST Student-ACAS - Chicago consulting actuaries have an immediate need for experienced casualty actuarial students and Associates. #21208 WEST Student-ACAS - Enterprise risk management, predictive modeling, catastrophe modeling, commercial lines pricing and other assignments. Project management skills ideal. Actuarial examination study program in place.

And on the SOA side, in the USA:
