Hell yeah, I'm in.
Nothing has changed. Still exercising like a banshee, eating like a horse, and drinking like a fish.
Good time to post some goals and begin tracking weight consistently. More to follow soon.
Got a late start to 2007 b/c I use a standard location/time scale and a lingering chest cold necessitated extra sleep, preventing me from making it to the gym in the mornings.
1/11/2007: 207.7 lbs.
Optimal Range: 195-205 lbs.
Goal: 200 lbs. by 7/1
Seems very doable. Not sure if I'll run any races in '07. We will see.

Sorry, but for real, the trifecta cocktail of Melatonin, Ambien, and NyQuil really had me moving slow in the mornings. FWIW, I was working out in the evenings.
1/16/2007: 208.6 lbs.
Had some really good workouts Sat, Sun, MLK, and Tuesday. Didn't do any boozing to speak of this weekend... yet I was still up almost a pound after this morning's swim. Dissapointing. No biggie though... perhaps I was just light last week. It's cool... as long as it's not the beginning of a trend.
To be continued...
1/19/2007: 207.5 lbs.
Rough week, missed Wed. and Thu workouts. Somewhat surprisingly, I was actually 0.53% lighter after this AM's swim relative to Tuesday's.
Booyah. I guess.
Holy crap did I out-do myself tonight. I'm a machine. I was eating like a fat Muslim predawn during Ramadan (or at least how I'd eat if I were a Muslim during Ramadan).

Hmmm. Sounds like you need a motivational adjustment more than a nutrition plan. Or at least before a nutrition plan.
I found that switching to a healthy diet was relatively easy to do. Accepting that eating large portions was NEVER a good idea was much, much more difficult. I still struggle with it from time to time, even though the healthy snacking approach has been very helpful.
Good luck.
can someone please do me a favor and ask, "how you livin', Roto?"
Livin' Large.... very LARGE my sista'.
210.5 after this morning's swim.
:rimshot:
hmmm...
come on, Roto! Unslump thyself!
I know this is the oldest line in the book, but I'm TELLIN' you... it's all muscle. I've been workin' out like a motherfo... it HAS to be, right?
Of course, I've also been eatin' like a banshee.
3/06/2007: 209.2 lbs.
Sorry I've been away. FAP-1 was beatin' me down like the lil' ho' that I am. Actually was fairly diligent about working out thru the exam prep process... with the exception of not working out for like 4 consecutive days prior to the exam, which is like the most consecutive days I've been healthy and not exercised since I can remember. Was eating a lot though, and it's always hard to be as active as we'd like to be in the winter months. Spring is around the corner, and 200lbs. by June is attainable! Booyah.

Speaking of fatasses... looks like someone has put on a little weight since 1995!

sounds like has-been-big-fish is having issues in his small pond. The students at doane say he's a real jerk.
(but that's all second hand info)
4/6/2007: 210.5 lbs.
I carry it well though :)
