View Full Version : Post Micro exam thoughts?
I'm curious what people thought of the NEAS Micro exam today, if anybody on this board took it.
My main gripes were with #1.17 and #1.41, to name a couple. The wording on 1.41 was horribly ambiguous.
There probably aren't enough of us to get a PAK going, but if anyone's interested just post a reply.
Anyway, good luck to all on the Macro exam Thursday.:joe:

Um yeah, what was up with 17? I put a, because it was the closest to what i got, but certainly not exact.
I had the same issue and put A as well. Close enough for NEAS, I guess...

I had the same issue with 17 and did the same thing. Is there anyway to grade these early? I feel like I am on the border and don't want to wait a month. I agree that there is probably not enough to do a PAK, but I would like to see how others answered to get an idea.

same issue with 17! this sort of thing happened with the first few questions of the fall 06 corp fin exam. picked A, although i wasted about 10 minutes trying to figure out if i was getting the wrong answer. i'd like to see a PAK performed, even if there are a limited # of entries.

How did you answer #41? I put A E.
I don't know much about a PAK but I can put everyone's answers on one spreadsheet if everyone can PM me their answers (an attached excel spreadsheet would be nice if that's possible). If anyone else know how to do a PAK, then feel free to take over and I will send you what I have.

I put e for #41.
For a lot of these, you can just confirm your answer against the practice problems...a lot of questions were duplicates.
For 41 I think I put B. IIRC, the question said to order from least efficient to most efficient, but then all the choices were in the form A > B > C. Just from the order of efficiency in the table, it had to be either B or E.
I agree with oopuzzlepieceoo, many of the questions can probably be found on the practice problems. I'm going to check them after the Macro exam; no point in wasting time over it until then.

guys, the question 17 asked "unempolyment" rate not "employment" rate.
Therefore, the answer is "B"

You're in the wrong thread. You are looking at the Macroeconomics exam. This is the thread for Microeconomics.
