Found a job outside the industry

I am also looking into outside the industry like Web analytics. However I need to pass only the Final assessment to get my ASA.
I have to make my decision soon b/c my FAP module will be expired in a month. Any advices?
I may need a career coach though.

Found a job outside the industry

Lucky you. I'm also shooting for a job outside the industry. If I get it maybe I'll drop the C? And if I drop the C maybe I'll feel a little guilty, because I know I could pass.

Probability theory textbook: Secret weapon or red herring?

when i was a studying for the mfe i got all the wikipedia pages that surround black scholes. (brownian motion, weiner process, ito's lemma, etc.) a lot more interesting than the text. though also a waste of time.

Note to self: Read "Qualifications" list in job postings from the bottom upward

Heheheh. I like when they use inconsistent language for experience like

Essential requirements: a minimum of 2-5 years experience preferred.

Divergence of the harmonic series, in a probability context

a (somewhat vague) application of your example is abiogenesis. Suppose the universe is infinitey large and roughly uniform, and that the probability of life forming on a planet chosen at random is P=10^-100.

Then there are with P=1, an infinite number of aliens out there.
